This is an amazing home and not just for the comfort of the home. It’s the location that really makes it stand out. Although you feel the forest all around you, it’s only a short 5 min drive to 441 and all of the great activities all over the area! We loved just driving 30-45 min to hike Spruce Falls Flat and Grotto Falls. The Wahoo zip line was fun for the whole family and Britt’s house is only 3 min from the Alpine Coaster! A 2 for 1 Groupon meant we could ride once in the daytime and again at dark with the lights on! We would definitely stay at this home again. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and the grill was also very easy to use. We had 3 teenagers and a 10yo and they all loved the place.

We had a great stay! The cabin is peaceful and private, but close to so many things. We appreciated Britt’s responsiveness and very much enjoyed our time at the cabin in the woods!

We had a wonderful time at Dune Haus. The house was clean and well-organized and the location was ideal. Britt was a very responsive and helpful host. We highly recommend Dune Haus, and hope to someday return.

The chalet is located in a really beautiful area, close enough to downtown, but private and woodsy. We saw a lot of bears here, (LOVED), but guests should take the precautions of locking the trash. We saw several other rentals nearby that did not use common sense and drew the bears looking for food. The deck and view are mesmerizing. We spent a lot of time out there enjoying the scenery. The deck chairs are great as is the hot-tub. All is super easy from accessing entry/lock up to operating the hot tub etc. Britt, the host, is wonderful about providing instructions and keeping you updated along your stay. The decor is perfect, kind of a Swedish-modern vibe. The leather sectional is beautiful and really comfortable to recline and relax. The floor to ceiling windows are amazing, allowing you to enjoy the scenery from the comfort of the interior. One note to travelers not familiar with Gatlinburg. It is crowded downtown and I suggest making reservations for dinner well in advance.

The house was very nice, we enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and the bikes to get around to the beach and town to town. The host was very nice and very helpful with questions. We would stay again

Beautiful home and amazing views. Loved how close it was to downtown and local restaurants. Several steps to get into the house so might not be friendly to the older generation. We had a storm roll in and it was amazing to watch through the big windows. Black bears are a real thing so make sure you follow all the house rules. We never saw one but just a muddy paw print on our car door

The house and its location on this charming island is amazing - a gorgeous home, a perfect beach, and a stunning view of the Atlantic and dunescape. It was well cleaned when we arrived. Everything as described, comfortable, spacious (for our 2 adults and 4 kids 10-15), and thoughtfully stocked. Britt and Alex are responsive and conscientious hosts - they provided us outstanding service and support before and during our stay. I’ll count myself lucky to come back. We had a great vacation here.

Had such a great stay for my bachelorette party! The space was easy to find, clean, and exactly as shown in the pictures. The location was amazing! A short uber ride to downtown. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful stay at Britt and Alex’s place! The location was perfect — quiet, safe, and close to everything we needed. The chalet was clean, well-equipped, and had a cozy atmosphere that made us feel at home. Communication with the hosts was clear and prompt, and their instructions were very helpful. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches and attention to detail. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
