Our family was ABSOLUTELY delighted with our stay at Dune Haus at Salvo in the North Carolina Outer Banks! Not only was the weather gorgeous and the area uncrowded at this time of the year, but our hosts Britt & Alex were very attentive and their home completely lived up to the impression we had of it when booking. Their home is in fabulous condition, there were lots of spaces to relax inside and out, and the beachfront location and views were to die for. We are already planning to return to Salvo this summer and will be looking to book again at one of our hosts' properties! This is the first time we have used Airbnb, so we were not completely sure what to expect. It couldn't have worked out better.

We loved our stay here, the views were incredible and the beds were the best beds we’ve ever stayed in on vacation! The chalet had everything we needed and more, my 71 year old mom ended up coming along with us and there was plenty of space for her plus my family of 5. The kids loved the loft, all the games, and the hot tub. The adults loved the cozy reading chair, watching the sunset and how peaceful it was. Our only complaint was we didn’t get to see a bear but truly a fantastic stay in every way, thank you!
